Four Seasons Orange Flavor
"Eat in Season"
Each season Worange has a unique orange flavor, and the changes of the four seasons can be felt in the pulp
Understanding the Sweet and Sour Ratio
“Worange” belongs to Navel Orange, and the sweetness of Navel Orange is affected by the sugar-acid ratio. If the sugar-acid ratio is unbalanced, it can easily result in an overly sour taste. For example, lemon has a sugar content close to 10% (similar to strawberry), but the acidity of lemon generally exceeds 4.5%, so the taste of lemon is “sour”.
Citrus fruits generally have a sweetness of around 11 degrees, while the sweetness of “Worange” is about 16 degrees.

In addition, the sweet and sour ratio is influenced by other factors:
1. Variety: Usually seedling varieties* are more sour compared to grafted varieties;
2. Environment: Usually in environments with lower temperatures, shorter sunlight hours, and soil lacking organic matter, Navel Orange fruits accumulate organic acids, resulting in a sourer taste;
3. Harvest time: Usually Navel Oranges harvested too early (such as before fully ripe) will also have more organic acids remaining in the pulp
The "Worange" planted by Zhan Xiang is well balanced in sweet and sour because the farm puts great effort into controllable factors, such as planting in terraces, using earthworm castings as more nutritious fertilizer, and even insisting on manual weeding instead of herbicides, ensuring the quality of Worange!
Organic Acid Conversion
The organic acid content in the fruit gradually decreases. As the fruit grows, the fruit enlarges, juice and water content increase, diluting the organic acids. At the same time, organic acids also decompose over time after the fruit matures.
If customers find the taste of Worange sour after purchase, they can place it at room temperature in a well-ventilated environment for a few days before trying again. The organic acids inside the Worange fruit will gradually convert into sugars, making the taste sweeter.
* Seedlings grown from seeds are called "seedlings". This refers to those grown from seeds sown and germinated into seedlings.
